Edson Jean is a Haitian-American Actor/Writer/Director who’s debut feature film “Ludi”, premiered at SXSW(2021). Jean is a Gotham Narrative Lab alum and served as a consultant in the writers room with Issa Rae’s “Rap Sh!t” on HBO max. Jean was nominated for a Streamy and Mipcom award for directing all eight half-hour episodes of his dramedy, “Grown”, for Complex Networks. He also wrote, directed, and starred in “The Adventures of Edson Jean,” which aired on HBO after its participation in the ABFF/ HBO Short Film Competition. He’s currently in post production for his second feature film that is inspired by the true events that took place on the Miami Causeway in 2012.
